A great beef cheeks and rice dish

Ingredients
- 1 kgBeef cheeks
 - 1 kgBeef bones
 - Marinade
 - 1 cupYoghurt
 - 2 tbspGinger, minced
 - 2 tbspGarlic, minced
 - 2 tspChilli powder
 - 1 tspTurmeric
 - 2 tspGaram masala
 - 6Cloves
 - 4Cardamom
 - 2Brown cardamom
 - 1 tspPepper
 - 1 pieceCinnamon
 - 400 gmsOnion, sliced
 - 2Green chillies, chopped
 - 500 gmsTomatoes, diced
 - 300 gmsChat potatoes, halved
 - Oil
 - Salt
 - Rice
 - ½ cupGhee
 - ½ cupRaw cashews
 - 3Cloves
 - 2Cardamom
 - ½ tspPepper
 - 1 pieceCinnamon
 - 2 cupsRice
 - 2 sheetsPuff pastry
 
Preparation
- Dice beef cheeks nto large chunks
 - Mix all ingredients for the marinade and apply on beef cheeks and refrigerate for a few hours
 - Heat oil and add cloves, cardamom, brown cardamom, pepper, cinnamon and let it crackle
 - Add sliced onions, chopped green chillies and fry till soft
 - Add diced tomatoes and stir till soft
 - Add marinated beef and beef bones and simmer for 10 mins
 - Place in oven at 150°C for 2 hours
 - Remove bones and simmer
 - Add halved chat potatoes and simmer till cooked
 - Wash rice and drain
 - Heat ghee and fry cashews till golden
 - Remove cashews and keep aside
 - Add spices and let it crackle
 - Add washed rice, cashews and gently saute till rice grains are coated with ghee
 - Add 4 cups of water and heat till it boils, and then simmer till rice is cooked
 - Layer rice and beef curry and cover with pastry sheets
 - Heat in oven at 210°C for 20 to 30 minutes till pastry is golden
