Mutton Do Pyaza

Ingredients

  • 1 kgLamb, diced
  • 1 kgOnions, chopped
  • 1 kgOnions, sliced
  • 4Green chillies
  • 2Bay leaves
  • 1 tspShahjeera
  • 2Brown Cardamom
  • 6Cloves
  • 4Cardamom
  • 1 pieceCinnamon
  • ½ tspPepper
  • 10Kashmiri chillies
  • 50 gmsGinger, minced
  • 50 gmsGarlic, minced
  • 1 cupYoghurt
  • Oil
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Heat oil, add bay leaves and fry
  2. Add chopped onions and green chillies and fry
  3. Add shahjeera and brown cardamom and fry
  4. Add minced ginger and garlic and fry
  5. Coarsely grind kashmiri chillies, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper
  6. Add to pan and fry
  7. Add lamb and fry till no longer pink
  8. Add yoghurt and salt, stir and simmer till lamb is almost cooked
  9. Add sliced onions, stir and simmer for 30 mins
