Pappardelle with bacon and broccoli

Ingredients

  • 375 gmsFresh pappardelle
  • 50 gmsButter
  • 150 gmsBacon, diced
  • 1 tbspGarlic, minced
  • 1 tspChilli flakes
  • 200 gmsBroccoli
  • 1Egg, beaten
  • 150 mlCream
  • 2 tbspGrated pecorino

Preparation

  1. Boil pappardelle as per instructions
  2. Melt butter in a pan, add diced bacon and fry till soft
  3. Add minced garlic and chilli flakes
  4. Cut broccoli into small florets and add and stir
  5. Add pasta and toss till warm
  6. Beat egg, cream and pecorino together
  7. Add to pasta and toss till coated
  8. Take off heat and continue to toss till egg is cooked
