Pan fried fritters made of sliced cabbage

Ingredients
- 400 gmsCabbage, finely sliced
 - 200 gmsOnions, finely diced
 - 2 tspTamarind paste
 - 1 tspSalt
 - 1 tspTurmeric
 - 4 tspChilli powder
 - 3 tspCumin powder
 - 3 tspCoriander powder
 - 1 bunchCoriander leaves
 - 1 cupBesan (Chickpea flour)
 - 1 cupRava (Semolina)
 - Oil
 
Preparation
- Mix sliced cabbage, onion and salt
 - Dissolve tamarind paste in a little water and mix
 - Keep aside for at least 1 hour
 - Drain and squeeze out any of the water
 - Add turmeric, spice powders, chopped coriander leaves
 - Keep for half and hour and squeeze out any water
 - Add besan and mix. You should not need to add any water but can if it is too dry
 - Make into balls, flatten and dust with semolina
 - Place on hot pan and pour some oil on the sides
 - Fry till it darkens in places and the inside is well cooked
