Bhugal Gosht

Bhugal Gosht

Ingredients

  • 500 gmsMutton
  • 250 gmsOnion, chopped
  • 2 tbspGarlic, minced
  • 2 tbspGinger, minced
  • 2Red chillies, chopped
  • 400 gmsTomatoes
  • 2 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspCumin powder
  • 1 tbspChilli powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • ½ tspPepper powder
  •  Chopped coriander leaves
  • 100 gmsGhee
  •  Salt

Preparation

  1. Heat ghee
  2. Add onion and fry till golden brown
  3. Add garlic, ginger, chopped chilli and mutton and fry for 10 mins, sprinkling a little water when necesary
  4. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and salt and fry for 10 mins
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and fry till soft
  6. Add a little water and simmer over a low fire till the lamb is soft
  7. Add garam masala and pepper powder and simmer for a few minutes
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves
