A dry and spicy lamb dish

Ingredients
- 500 gmsMutton
- 250 gmsOnion, chopped
- 2 tbspGarlic, minced
- 2 tbspGinger, minced
- 2Red chillies, chopped
- 400 gmsTomatoes
- 2 tspCoriander powder
- 1 tspCumin powder
- 1 tbspChilli powder
- 1 tspGaram masala
- ½ tspPepper powder
- Chopped coriander leaves
- 100 gmsGhee
- Salt
Preparation
- Heat ghee
- Add onion and fry till golden brown
- Add garlic, ginger, chopped chilli and mutton and fry for 10 mins, sprinkling a little water when necesary
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and salt and fry for 10 mins
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry till soft
- Add a little water and simmer over a low fire till the lamb is soft
- Add garam masala and pepper powder and simmer for a few minutes
- Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves
