A quick recipe for leftover bread

Ingredients
- 1Large onion, diced
 - 1Green chilli, sliced
 - 1 tspBrown mustard seeds
 - ½ tspCumin seeds
 - ½ tspTurmeric powder
 - 4Curry leaves
 - 8 cupsBread, roughly shredded
 - 1 tspLemon juice
 - Oil
 - Salt
 
Preparation
- Heat oil and add mustard seeds and let them pop.
 - Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and sliced chilli. Stir for a short time.
 - Add onion and stir till soft
 - Add turmeric powder and fry for a few minutes
 - Add salt to taste and add a bit of water if needed.
 - Add shredded bread and toss till the mixture is evenly distributed.
 - Stir till heated through. Add the lemon juice.
 
This is a great recipe for leftover bread. Break the bread into bite sized pieces. If you are using sourdough, go easy on the lemon juice. It makes a great snack for breakfast or tea.
